Shares Fall as Bond Yields Hit Two-12 months Excessive – The Wall Road Journal

U.S. inventory indexes fell Tuesday and bond yields hit two-year highs, as buyers fretted over whether or not the Federal Reserve will hike rates of interest extra shortly and aggressively than anticipated.

Buyers, coming off a vacation weekend that had closed markets on Monday, bought shares throughout the board. All three indexes fell, with the S&P 500 sliding 1.5%, the Dow Jones Industrial Common shedding 1.5% and the Nasdaq Composite retreating 1.7%.
